The WRC restores and monitors water quality, fisheries, and wildlife as well as protecting the heritage and open space of the Upper Clark Fork River Basin. The organization works with landowners, stakeholders, and agency representatives that are interested in implementing Best Management Practices (BMP), watershed restoration project, and encouraging environmental stewardship that conserve natural resources.

The WRC is located in the heart of the Deer Lodge Valley with its principal mailing address at C/O Deer Lodge Conservation District, 1 Hollenback Road, Deer Lodge, MT 59722. Affiliated entities include the Mile High Conservation District, Granite Conservation District, and Missoula Conservation District, as wells as local, state, and federal government agencies and several non government organizations.
